Four years of Christmas Festival performances

My Story

My most moving artistic experiences as a student deal with being in the St. Olaf Christmas Festival all four years at college as part of Viking Chorus, Chapel Choir, and the St. Olaf Choir. I attended these as a junior high student when my brother and sister were involved in them, and I wanted to be a part of them then. Luckily, I got the opportunity as a student to be able to a part of the festivals.

Also, the times spent on St. Olaf Choir tour were impactful. For me, an east coast tour was very meaningful as I grew up in Pennsylvania, so it was great to go back as a member of the choir and perform in some of the most iconic concert halls in the United States and probably even the world. I also got to experience Texas and Louisiana, which was great as well — it was nice to be in the south in late January early February and get out of the cold weather! The times spent on these tours with friends and fellow choir members and the talent that I was surrounded by, still has me in awe to this day. I will never forget these times — they are an important part of my life.
